Welcome to the home of Hinerangitoariari Belcher. Hinerangi is one of Aotearoa's (New Zealand’s) foremost Maori artists.

Here you will find works of art of the highest quality created by one of Aotearoa’s most technically accomplished artists. Hine’s paintings blend Maori mythology, contemporary themes and modern legends to create a unique mix that defines New Zealand. Her subjects range from the surreal fantasy to the ultra real. Her style molds oils and board into manifestations in light and colour.

This acclaimed artist has works in Te Papa, Auckland University School of Engineering, Manukau City Centre, Hamilton Public Library, and many works in private collections.

Hine or Winifred Belcher nee Foley was been creating since she was very young. At 16 years of age she wrote and illustrated “Uncle Stews Mystery Box” for her brothers and sisters.
